Oh those politicians, claiming the recession is ending, but my purse knows the difference. Millions of us deal with student loan debt, and other monthly bills. What’s a girl to do? Throw style to the side? We think not. Become a frugal fashionista! In other words, embracing style doesn’t have to drain your bank account.
Millions of women are doing it everyday. Join them! Our co-editor, Shannon-Eli Braxton, shows us how with an eclectic ensemble: valor blazer (Express, $89), pants (Target, $10.99), and oh so stylish black and white checkered shoes by Blake Scott (DSW, $39.00) reminiscent of musical legend Michael Jackson. Please share your budget saving fashion tips with us!

Awesome post & LOVE those pants! My Budget Saving Tips: I am a HUGE couponer, so I utilize the Target apparel coupons online and take advantage of when my fave stores offer Flash-3 hour-store-wide 50% off sales. And the cool thing about these sales is that there is often an additional percentage you can take off AND they allow you to take the percent off the already reduced prices! You can get high-quality, gorgeous clothes for between $5-$10 or below! Just sign up online at your preferred store for free texts to be kept in the loop on sales and you’re good to go. 🙂
Very cool!! Thanks so much for these great tips, Chel! We’re def. fans of Target. :)) Love that you made time to check out this post. We know you are busy!
