Mother, wife, sister, friend, writer / blogger / creative organizer, budding photographer... These are just a few of the many hats I juggle each day. I believe creativity is oxygen for the soul. I created Live In Color blog to celebrate the beauty in every moment, from faith to inspiration and motherhood. And it is soon becoming Pray with Our Feet blog which will focus on the intersection of faith and activism. The weather is getting cooler and holidays are near! This is an awesome time to reflect, seeking inspiration and wisdom. I am listening to a lot these days (as usual), and wanted to share some of the latest audio gems resonating with my soul.

This Is No Time to Loose Your Head, Bishop T.D. Jakes, a timely reminder to rely not on our own wisdom, but God’s as an anchor, particularly during tough times.

I recently did some promotional work for a local festival, Art-AGstravaganza. Hop’t, a rock / blues band, performed live. Their dynamic sound is electrifying!

With our support, they can release their first EP.  Click here to help.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s brilliant talk on why we should all unapologetically identify as feminists. Her short book, adapted from this lecture, is an elegant and heartfelt call to honor the depth of feminity.

When we are true to our passions, the world opens. It’s such a refreshing way to live.

I enjoyed another Jess Lively podcast learning about one of the founders of the Simple Green Smoothies, Jadah Sellner.

There are moments when we all feel alone, as if God has abandoned us. Plumb’s profound song, “Need You Now” urges us to call out and rest in our creator, even when it’s tough.

Love, love, love her energy! This webinar by Hilary Ruthsford of Dean Street Society about leveraging the power Instagram to propel your business forward rocks!

Awesome short NPR weekend edition story about how one man, musician Franklin Bell, created a home for the blues and community in his South Central, LA garage.
