Mother, wife, sister, friend, writer / blogger / creative organizer, budding photographer... These are just a few of the many hats I juggle each day. I believe creativity is oxygen for the soul. I created Live In Color blog to celebrate the beauty in every moment, from faith to inspiration and motherhood. And it is soon becoming Pray with Our Feet blog which will focus on the intersection of faith and activism. Our co-editor, Shannon Eli-Braxton continues to amaze me with her unique take on style. She will tell anybody dynamic taste is not tied to your bank account. I could not agree more. Bargain shopping doesn’t mean you loose your individuality, in fact, working with less transforms you into an architect of sorts, skillfully planning design.

Recently, while looking for something to wear for our June blog chat with soul singer Marcell Rusell (look for that soon), she popped into H&M in downtown Baltimore and put together this fly ensemble.

Here’s the skinny on the price: $14.95 (hat), scarf ($9.95), sweater ($7.00), pants ($9.95), earrings ($5.95), and feeling so free she went barefoot: #priceless.
